House League Teams Must
Contact John Reid LCMHL President at president@lcmhl.ca to report any code of discipline offence that results in the player/official being removed from the game and confirm the discipline (if any ) to be assessed.
If you do not have access to email then call John at 613-832-2814 to report the penalty. State the date of the game, player/team official’s name, penalty assessed and time and period and your interpretation of the discipline.
This should be done within 24 hours of the game played or within 24 hours of your return from a tournament out of town. It is not necessary to fax John Reid the game sheet at 613-832-3511 unless he requests it.
Severe new suspensions are in place for 06-07 to coaches who play players/officials that should be sitting out games. The player/official’s suspension is also doubled.
Game sheets showing players serving suspensions (e.g. 1 of 3) must be retained by the team as proof suspensions have been served. This is essential at the end of the season due to carryover suspensions.
Failure to show proof of suspension received near the end of the year as being served will result in a carryover to next season.
Failure to report suspensions as requested above will result in a $25.00 fine 1st offence, $50.00 fine 2nd offence etc. All fines are the responsibility of the home Association.
